India on the world board

Two of this year's leaders come from Indian clubs: M. Muruganandam of the Rotary Club of Bhel City Tiruchirapalli serves as Vice President, and K.P. Nagesh of the Rotary Club of Bangalore Highgrounds is a director for 2025-27.

How Rotary is organised

Rotary International is led by a president who serves for one Rotary year, from 1 July to 30 June, and sets a theme for clubs worldwide. The Rotary Foundation — Rotary's charitable arm — is governed separately by a board of trustees.

Below that sit districts, each led by a district governor. Our club belongs to District 3211. Day-to-day club leadership is our own office bearers and committee chairs.

Officers and directors as published on rotary.org/who-we-are/our-leaders and its directors page, checked 22 July 2026. Official portraits are available from Rotary's Brand Center.
